The world of entertainment is always evolving,
and if you don't move with the tide, you get left behind.
"New" gets "old" fast these days and "original"
becomes "conventional" in no time,
but as innovators we don't fear change:
we thrive on it.
Of course, that means we never get complacent;
not a day goes by without us asking ourselves

The name "Dimps Corporation" was coined from the phrase "Digital Innovation for Multiple Platforms." But what I intended by "multiple platforms" differs slightly from what that term generally means in the gaming industry.

The circumstances surrounding gaming have changed drastically over the past few decades.
Digital innovations and modernization have seen trends shift from arcade games, to PC games, to console games, to handheld games, to apps... And this tide of change is sure to continue into the future.

The omission of the words "entertainment" and "games" from the name was intentional;
I wanted to avoid limiting what the company stood for. The name also represents my wish to work with innovative individuals willing to adapt flexibly to the ever-changing flow of the times. Dimps is—and always will be—a company that does not lock itself into a single platform, but challenges itself to swiftly adapt to the times.
